Lucco got in the car and immediately made sure to put on Jio’s seat belt, kahit na naglilikot sa excitement si Jio.

“Hay naku! That was tiring but I had fun, Lucco!” Jio was still in high after playing at the arcade for an hour. His inner child was there for sure. Pagpasok pa lang nila ng World of Fun, talagang fun na agad kay Jio makakita ng makulay na mga consoles, masayang tugtog at pati ang mga batang naglalaro doon. Para siyang bata na pinayagan maglaro ng kanyang mga magulang basta matutulog sa hapon.

Naalala pa niya, the first time he went to the mall, he was with his Papà. It was a week before his birthday. They celebrated it earlier because his Papà has to go back to Italy to meet his late grandfather. At first, he was so scared, but Supremo told him to not be obvious and that he doesn’t have to be scared— just don’t trust anyone and don’t talk to anyone besides him and the guards in disguise.

He wasn’t scared at all. He entered the arcade with his hand intertwined with Lucco’s. They played everything he wanted. He even had a bet with Jack on whoever shoots the most on the basketball machine has to grant one wish. Of course, Jio loses by 2 points and Jack’s wish is to lend him his car for a day when his husband set a date for them. Pumayag naman agad si Jio dahil wala namang kaso sa kanya ‘yun.

“Nag-enjoy ka talaga? Hindi naman halata.” Lucco smiled.

“I did! Even though you did not let me win on the shooting range! I know what you are capable of underboss! But that was just a game!”

“Pustahan e. Sabi mo magbabait ka an at susunod sa’kin lagi–”

“Which I always do!”

Habang nagliligalig si Jio, ay inabot ni Lucco ang kamay nito at hinawakan, holding it over the car gear.

Si Lucco, nag-enjoy din ‘yan. Nag-enjoy siya katatawa at kanunuod kay Jio. ‘Yung mga pagreklamo ni Jio sa tuwing dinadaya siya nina Rex sa mini bowling. ‘Yung paghampas sa kanya nito kapag alam niyang nalalamangan na siya sa pagbaril. At pati ‘yung pang-aasar ni Jio kayJack sa mga salang tira nito. Nadagdagan ang gaan sa loob niya nung nakita niyang nagtatalo si March at Jio kung anong stuff toy dapat ang madaling kunin saclaw machine.

Masaya. Masaya sila pareho. Alam na naman niya n amahimbing na naman ang tulog nila pareho mamaya at hindi na siya makaintay umuwi, makakin ng hapunan and cuddle on Jio’s bed as he listen to his nonstop onrepeat stories kahit andun naman siya at nakita niya lahat.
